Basic features:
CHAMPRO-8005 series are a kind of emulsion polymers, specially designed for wrapping calcium carbonate. It can be used in combination with CHAMPRO-4445, or alone. It can significantly increase the particle size , improve the retention of calcium carbonate, mitigate the negative impact from the dosage increase of calcium carbonate on the paper strength properties.
Champro-8005 shall be diluted by special equipment ( concentration: 0.1~0.5% after dilution) before adding to calcium carbonate. The recommended addition amount is 0.2~2.0 kg/ ton of calcium carbonate. The specific addition amount is related to the initial particle size, specific surface area, particle charge and target particle size of calcium carbonate in each factory.
